Strength

CORE's main strength is that the organisation was not set up by the mainstream service providers, but was instead started by the local mainly indigenous community, and the Organisation still enjoys strong support from the local community.

CORE is governed by a Board of Trustee of 3 local residents from the Forth and Inverleith areas who are all from the BME community. The Board of Trustees also appoints professional advisers.
