Strength

CORE's main strength is that the project (formerly known as BCDP) was not set up by the mainstream service providers, but was instead started by the local mainly indigenous community, and the Project still enjoys strong support from the local community.

CORE is governed by a Board of Trustee of 5 local residents from the Greater Pilton Area who are all from the BME community.
