Skills Project - Starting Soon

This city-wide course is open to unemployed individuals from a Black and Minority Ethnic background between the ages of 18-50.

The Skills Project training course consists of a combination of classroom based learning and ongoing one to one support and guidance. The CLASSROOM BASED LEARNING is an opportunity to learn multiple subjects that will considerably improve chances of gaining employment. For example, information technology and literacy, job search skills, knowledge and understanding of the job market, how to succeed with interviews, first aid, motivation and confidence building.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT include childcare support, an agreed learning plan, continuous progress assessment, chance to speak to potential employers, opportunity for further study or training.

£10 per week (travel and subsistence allowance) and a £50 one off payment on completion of the course.
