Funding
Up until October 1995, the Project was funded by the Community Education's Central Positive Action Budget. In August 1995, the then Local Urban Aid Panel awarded the Project a grant for four years and in November of that year the Black Community Development Project became independent.
Since 1995 the core funding for BCDP (later to become CORE) has come from the North Edinburgh Social Inclusion Partnership, now renamed Fairer Scotland. CORE's additional current funders are, Scottish Government, Big Lottery, ESF, and BBC Children In Need.
